Governors
The Local Governing Board is a key part of The Elmgreen School. We oversee the strategic direction of the school and work hard to ensure that it works in the best interests of the students, families and the wider community. More governors than is usual are also parents, a model that reflects the school's unique beginnings as a parent promoted school. You will find details of the members of our Local Governing Board in the drop down menu below.
The LGB has a number of key responsibilities which are delegated to it by the Trustees of the Dunraven Educational Trust (the 'Trust') and the LGB works in partnership with the Trust under a Scheme of Delegation which is reviewed annually and published on the Trust's website HERE The Local Governing Board (LGB) has at least 4 full meetings each academic year.
The Annual General Meeting of the Dunraven Educational Trust is being held on Friday 13 December 2024 online. The notice, agenda and how to register for the AGM will be available in the Autumn term on theTrust's website here.
We are always happy to hear from anyone interested in the role of a Governor, either at The Elmgreen School or at one of our Trust's schools. If you would like to find out more, please contact governance@det.org.uk
