Welcome to The Elmgreen Sixth Form! As Deputy Headteacher and Acting Director of Sixth Form, I am delighted to introduce you to our vibrant, inclusive community. The values running through our sixth form are integral to developing students holistically, academically, socially, and as confident, world-ready leaders. We are committed to providing an exceptional post-16 educational experience in our local community by empowering young adults through academic excellence, independent thought, and tailored guidance. Here, students enjoy a mature, adult learning environment with exclusive facilities while benefiting from the privilege of acting as role models for our younger students.
Academic progress and personal growth lie at the very heart of what we do. Our A Level and BTEC examination results placed us among the nation's top-performing schools, reflecting our commitment to pushing intellectual boundaries. Through our broad curriculum, we tailor every student's learning journey to their individual goals. For ambitious students aiming for top destinations, our dynamic Scholarship Programme offers bespoke experiences, including visits to Oxbridge and Russell Group universities, subject-specific conferences, and unique collaborative projects with prestigious local partners such as Dulwich College.
Beyond classroom study, my team and I place immense value on supporting your future choices. Through dedicated tutor sessions, PSHE, careers advice, employability workshops, and mock interviews, we prepare you for every post-18 pathway, whether that means a competitive university course, a higher apprenticeship, or entering the workplace. Alongside our wide selection of A Level and BTEC courses, we also offer enrichment options like the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) and Mandarin to help you broaden your skill set.
I invite you to explore what makes our sixth form such a special place to learn and grow. If you would like to find out more, please visit us at Elmcourt Road, London SE27 9BZ; email us at sixthform@the-elmgreen-school.org.uk; call 020 8766 5020; or follow our journey on social media @elmgreen6.
