Uniform

Our students wear a House tie and the colours for the 2026/27 academic year are:

Year 7 - Wilberforce (Blue / Green) (2026 Entry)

Year 8 - Besant (Yellow /Green) 

Year 9 - Szabo (Grey / Green)

Year 10 - James (Red / Green)

Year 11 - Aldridge (Purple / Green)

 

Once the students have been allocated a house and tie colour, that remains with them throughout their time at The Elmgreen School. This means they will retain the same colour tie from Year 7 through to Year 11.

All the non-compulsory or non-branded uniform items may be purchased either through our uniform supplier, Healthy Bean, or from any supplier of your choosing.

Uniform "Try and Buy" sessions

 

At peak times of the year, when new and existing families are purchasing their child's uniform ready for the new school year we will hold an in-person fitting session.   Healthy Bean will be running the following 'try & buy' session in the summer holidays for any families who would prefer to come and purchase the uniform in person.  The session will be held on:

Date: Monday 24 August

Time: 10.30am-3.30pm

Location: The Elmgreen School, Elmcourt Road, London SE27 9BZ

They will have the branded Elmgreen School uniform items in stock for you to try and purchase on the day (credit card only).  You do not need to book to attend, but we do ask if families are planning to come if they could complete this short google form it will help the supplier to plan the stock required for the day.

Families can continue to purchase the branded uniform online at any time and non-branded items can be purchased from any supplier.  Please see the uniform buying guides below for more information about the school uniform requirements. 

Pre-loved Uniform

The Elmgreen School Association (TESA)  organise regular collection and sale of second hand uniform.  They communicate with families every two weeks via the school news.   We encourage families to save money and reduce waste by donating any good quality pre-loved uniform.  For further information please see the school news on the website here or contact TESA at elmgreentesa@gmail.com
